The Seal of Demarcation
After asking about, you find yourself walking down the main road that you followed into the city. Many shops are along this busy thoroughfare, seen through the filter of an ever shifting crowd of people that despite their small stature, still rise above your head. It is through this crowd that you spot your destination: The Seal of Demarcation. A reputable store of magical wares, implements and services that was claimed to be the best place to get anything you need, at least when needing the arcane. The exterior is nothing to speak of, but when you enter you see that some extra-dimensional magic is at play because immediately you notice that the 20 foot wide store front becomes a 50 foot wall on the inside. The interior is clean and well organized, decorated with various trophies and relics mounted to the walls, while shelves and low tables fill the space, covered with various apparatus, potions, books, and more. This space is broken by a long square counter that extends out from the middle rear of the room, bordered on both sides by doors that supposedly lead to store rooms or offices. Behind the counter sits a man with dark brown skin which appears to be laced with veins of white that even at this distance pulse with some sort of energy. He is wearing a turban of fine blue silk, and a thawb of simple white linen embroidered with intricate and subtle red designs with a clear arcane purpose. He doesn't look up as you enter, apparently engrossed in a book or scroll that lies hidden below the counter. About the store you can see humanoid figures, 2 of them, which appear to be made of metal but are dressed in simple brown thawbs themselves, busying themselves with tasks such as straightening the books or sweeping the floors.
