Military action

Aundair irregulars were used southeast of the Black caps and pushed toward the small Thrane garrison in Erlaskar on the shores of Silver Lake.

The campaign culminated in Thrane’s troops at Drum Keep falling under siege in 922 YK. Aundair did not have the resources or troop strength to take the stronghold, and Thrane could do little more than bring in limited amounts of supplies through the mountainous terrain. As a result, this stalemated position remained for fourteen years.   Displaying its usual complacency, the only reaction of Breland to the hostilities along its northern border was to hire auxiliaries to harass both sides.
