One Shot: Reclaiming what is ours from the Warrior Kings Report

General Summary

26th Dravago, 982 YK
  • 13 years after the emergence of Darguun, the Kech Volaar are sending reclaimers to catalogue the ruins of the empire and recover what they can.
  • One such group approach a ruined fort, occupied by Marguul bugbears. They send Ban in and he kills two of them right quick.
  • The bugbear guards outside of the fort go down quickly and relatively quietly, the whole thing is over in 6 seconds. Taanx broke their line, Lozaal, Duusha and Ban filled them with arrows.
  • Once the dhakaani squad push into the fort itself, they engage in an extended combat with the Marguul occupants. By extended, I mean they killed everyone in 54 seconds, with no major injuries or casualties. The Dhakaani are next level.
  • During the fight, Ban spoke to some caged wolves and got them on side with a natural 20 persuasion check. He released them, and they helped the dhakaani squad with promise of treats.
  • Kitaas engaged in psychological warfare, that poor bugbear.
  • After the fight, they found that the Marguul were keeping a bunch of gath'dar prisoner. The group was fairly varied, consisting of humans, elves, dwarves and halflings. Some of them were Brelish and others were Cyran.
  • The dhakaani strike force had never encountered humans before. One of the prisoners attempted a chemical attack on Lozaal, by secreting water from it's eyes when he approached.
  • They released the prisoners and let them go.
  • Ban had no treats to give the wolves, like he promised, but they take a bugbear and go off into the mountains.
  • They find a shrine to The Mockery in the fort, covered in gore. Blood coats the walls, bones hang from strips of skin from the ceiling, and human/dwarf/elf skins are tanned on the walls. Taanx smashes the shrine.
  • They recover the weapons in the armoury, and Lozaal finds a rusted iron coin with "Muut" carved on one side, and "Atcha" on the other.
