Citadel of the Closed Circle
The library, left behind by the Closed Circle, is possibly the most complete reservoir of information on the Daelkyr on Khorvaire. It contains a multitude of books on transmutation magic, the Dhakaani-Daelkyr war, the flesh crafting techniques of the Daelkyr, symbionts.
Most of the Daelkyr seem to follow a theme or concept, and the things that they create/created tend to follow or otherwise fit this theme. The books claim, for example, that the Daelkyr Orlassk created the medusa, basilisk, cockatrice, gargoyles, and other creatures that can petrify others. Kyrzin is the supposed origin of all oozes.
In particular, the library focuses on Dyrrn, who seems unique amongst them in that it doesn't seem to focus on a particular theme. Whilst all Daelkyr can mold flesh, Dyrrn is seemingly the most prolific of the Daelkyr when it comes to creating symbionts and other aberrations, and in particular the library credits it with the creation of dolgrims, dolgaunts, and mind flayers.
It is Dyrrn that the Closed Circle was attempting to learn from, and they took extensive notes on it. They credit the Daelkyr for the techniques that they used to flesh craft and create monsters.
