38. Dungeon and Definitely Dragon Report

General Summary

Ashi, Dandra, Ekhaas, Geth, Medala and Natrac entered Taruuzh's tomb.
Ekhaas reveals that Geth's sword is Aram, a weapon forged by Taruuzh himself. Perhaps that's why he's awoken now.
As they enter the chamber properly, the temperature drops sharply and starts to hurt them. Ekhaas sings a marching song to soothe the ghost and they flee into the stairway to the next chamber.
They have a discussion, Ekhaas reiterates Taruuzh's riddle and what she thinks it means. Geth says he thinks the sword is the key.
Dah'mir agrees, and tears the secret door open. He tries to exert control over them, but Ashi manifests the Siberys Mark of Sentinel and thwarts him.
Dandra collapses and begins screaming. Tetkashtai is making a play for her body.
The others arrive in the chamber and fan out.
Kelarth attempts to take The General hostage and gets brained by Kalshana .
Singe and Warden are placed beneath the Grieving Tree.
Terfel is also placed beneath the tree, and Dah'mir commands Kalshana to wake him up.
Dah'mir awakens the Grieving Tree, and it picks up Warden. Ouch.
Dah'mir goes to command the tree to grab Terfel, but Hruucan kicks off. Dah'mir allows Hruucan to fight Terfel, rather than tree him.
Dax' Athla approaches and hails Tzaryan Rrac. Tzaryan allows her to enter the chamber, and prevents Dah'mir from taking her prisoner, as he didn't take her prisoner himself in combat.
Hruucan and Terfel fight for a while, Terfel uses his long rest juice to heal up and get resources back. Eventually, Terfel runs to Dah'mir and the dragon intervenes.
Dah'mir gets Hruucan to stop, and offers Geth a proposal.
If Geth gives Dah'mir the sword, Dah'mir swears they can all go free. He even says Geth can keep the sword until he's out of the Kraat.
Geth comes out of the passage, flanked by Ekhaas and Terfel, and approaches the Grieving Tree. He orders Dah'mir to let Warden down.
The tree drops Warden unceremoniously to the ground, Geth rushes to help him and when they touch the tree explodes.
Leaving behind a lockbox! Presumably containing the Binding Stones.
Dah'mir grabs the stones and all hell breaks loose. Tzaryan turns on Dah'mir for breaking his word.
After some combat, Dah'mir teleports himself and Vennet out. He leaves Hruucan behind, with instructions to "kill them all and meet me at Bright Blade"
They fight Hruucan for a bit, and then Tzaryan blasts him with a Cone of Cold.
They dump Hruucan's body in Taruuzh's tomb, and the cold destroys it.
Tzaryan states they he has no quarrel with them, but he isn't their friend. Their things will be waiting for them by the entrance to Tzaryan Keep. The ogres will have orders to kill Ekhaas on sight.
Tzaryan also tells them that Dah'mir is going to Sharn, Ja'Shaarat (Bright Blade) is the goblin name for the city. He told them to find an oni named Cavallah in Malleon's Gate, she would help them.
Dandra awakens, and reveals that Tetkashtai is gone. She's absorbed her. She's sad.
Terfel goes to collect his halberd and lizard. Sengo Mura is waiting for him there, and tries to apologise for Tzaryan's actions. He gives Terfel a magical lantern that can summon "the trader".
They leave, and use the lantern when they've gotten some distance from the keep.
Kosaten the wandering trader arrives, and sets up his wagon.
They trade so many things! They give him both of their big dragonshards, one for a very powerful magic weapon, and one for him to transport them to Sharn by morning.
They also gave him one of the aberrant dragonmark smoothies they have.
They all got in the back of Kosaten's wagon, and he told them not to open the window.
