Woodhelm

Woodhelm is a village in north central Breland in the middle of the Dragonwood at the banks of the Dagger River. The village's main industry is timber. The cut lumber in the Dragonwood and ship the logs downriver to Galethspyre to be processed for wood.        DM to Read See: From a good distance, the jagged peaks of the Blackcaps mountains towers over this village. The shadow didn't reach it as much, nor did the rain clouds that collected a top of it. Unlike the settlements that are closer to the mountains, Woodhelm does not get as much rain. It is a little cool though, even though it's closer to south than north, but this is because of the frequent fog and mist that blows over the town in dawn. Woodhelm is a lumbering village, where people gather, organize, and plant as much dragonwood as they can for trade and commerce. It's not surprise most of the establishments here are made of wood. Due to how much economical value this village has, it can afford a lot of whole other things. Most of the ground is either paved with flattened cobble stone, and it forms a small curb down towards the village's main road. There are also magebred beasts of labors everywhere, transporting items for the villagers. There's some magical technology too. Continual lanterns are set up on each structure so there's really no need for any form of torch here. They're financially well off, but the village just chooses to make most of their things out of wood. Why shouldn't they? Each woodwork is a piece of art, with sharp decals and intricate engravings on it that signifies its artistic value. Hear: As your nose picks up the scent of sawdust, you'd also begin to notice the constant whirring of saws in at least one of the many lumbering mills. It's rare to have any people purposely stay up late here since it was noisy during the day. It dies down a bit during the afternoon, but when the work of morning comes, it is very noisy.
