Iblis
The Accursed Emperor
“
...I choose to rule for all eternity as the ultimate tyrant. I can induce hatred and strife at my whim, and all will bow down before me while in my kingdom.”
— Iblis, the AccursedEmperor
The wholly malevolent and brutal Raksharai, that distanced himself from the rest of his kin, to reign over them from afar: Iblis was once part of the Raksharai people, and was revered by many as a hero. He was apart of the prideful Shastra warriors, essentially franchised gladiators, and more than that he was a popular one at that. Iblis was known to be defiant, brash and dared anyone to try and tell him what to do, but in the circle of the then Asharia, Iblis was but a shadow in the wake of the great figure that was his father, Azazil.
Iblis has never admitted to it, but the reason that the circle of pride has succumb and fallen to the standard that it is now, is nothing more and nothing less than pride. Iblis never felt that he was noticed enough. He felt like a flea when compared to the roars of the crowd that would come when Azazil would enter a market square in Lanka or when he entered the great Shastra Arena. And so, what does a crazed egomaniac do when prompted by the King of Silver Toungues to take his rightful spot as more than an heir to a throne he doesnt even sit upon? He rewrites the kingdom in his own image, with his firery sun sword as his pen and the then flaming hot Asharia as his blank paper. Iblis finally was noticed by not as the hero his father Azazil was, but as a tyrant. It only took a few days before his father intervened and tried to stop Iblis. In an act of defiance Iblis stabs and kills his father. The moment as described by other Raksharai was one of fear, with Azazil not believing to the very end that his son would never do anything to him. In the moment that Iblis had stabbed his father with the blade given to him by Asmodeus, the only thing that Azazil said what was "What are you doing my son?". In response, Iblis let his father fall to the ground. He looks upon the people of Asharia. They witness his appearance go from that of a Rakshasa to one that is more akin to that of a humanoid. Iblis surposedly should have yelled out to the masses watching: "This kingdom shall fall, and from the ashes shall arise a new order that will shake the very foundations of the world".

It was through this act of betrayal and defiance that Iblis became the Accursed Emperor. The title of Emperor he bestowed upon himself and anyone who doesn't rightfully calls him that, will be punished sufficiently for it. One can only pray that, that punishment isn't one's life.
Divine Domains
Being the personified spirit of insolence, hubris, violence, reckless pride, arrogance and outrageous behaviour in general Iblis' divine domain occupies that of dangerously corrupt selfishness, putting one's own desires, urges, wants, and whims before the welfare of others. Having set divine domain, is difficult due to the paradoxal nature of it. Anyone who indulge and believes in the divine abilities of Iblis places themselves as both the servant and enemy of himself. With a belief that one is essentially better, superior, or more important than others, despising their merits, and excessively admiring oneself as godlike, refusing to acknowledge one's limits, faults, or wrongs, one also challenges the actual demon who personifies exactly this. That is often why, Iblis find him-selves without a dedicated cult, sect or church as Iblis often destroys them himself. They embody pride, just as much as he does.
