Men and Centaurs had waged war ever since both races have discovered each other. Still, the many active tribes within the land did not forget their feud with the other tribes and so they planned skirmishes and engaged into small scaled battles with each other.

Joric, your average looking tribemen that had participated in many battles against the centaurs and other tribes, became angry after his chieftain denied his request to stop shedding bloods against other tribes and to focus more on the centaurs. It is said, yet whether this is true or not, Joric was limping back home after winning a battle against the Tautans, being the last man standing whilst all of his friends and men died in battle. After he went inside the biggest hut, which the chieftain sat there with a few others, to await the good news from Joric, he took out his sword covered with the blood of the Tautanians men, women and children and beheaded his chieftain.
