A Boon of a time

A few month after strange readings on the many observatories of earth, Flagships of the Boon enter the Solar system. Because of their unaturral behavior, the Earth scientist are alarmed and already start theorizing. The flagships approach earth and enter its orbit for a week, radiating radio signals and beginning to exchange with the earth's scientist who, hopefully, were prepared for the encounter of the third kind.
