Earth

This world is full of magic, which is laid down by strict rules. It is channelled from another universe, a twin, and when magic is used, a wormhole is briefly opened up, allowing the flow of energy and matter at the wielders will. There are many magical creatures, which can also channel magic, and some very well. There are forests where there are amazing amounts of magic in the air and on the plants and animals. It is an elegant world, with fighting between humans, but most other animals are at peace. The world is geographically accurate, and has many defining features, including large jungles, deserts and mountain ranges. The part of the world which has been focused on is split into two main continents. One of them is full of people, and the other one is primarily wild land, full of incredibly dangerous creatures. However, there is a cramped area to the north which has been rid of the most harmful creatures. This cramped area is where the vast majority of the East live, but they need more room. This is the premise for a war which could bring both sides to their knees, just as another foe appears in their midst. This foe appears at first to be a dragon, although it turns out that it is far more than that.
