Falling Leaves of the World Tree

This skill is the an offensive skill of the [Yggdrasil's Progeny] skill set. This skill utilizes the users affinity and control to create small leaf-like blades that float around the user. With higher control, more blades can be made and they can be directed easier. The user can make the blades spin around himself for extra defense, follow his handheld weapon to create more damage, or breeze toward foes for ranged attacking and damage purposes. These blades start as mundane shards of affinity, but as the cultivator goes up the tiers these can get more and more specialized. Liquid tier allows the user of the skill to condense a rune in the middle of the leaf, increasing sharpness, toughness, or speed. Solid tier allows the user to begin to automate the leafs by condensing runic circles in the center of the leafs to do things like explode after contact. After Crystal tier, the leaves can imprinted with glyphs and other large runic spells, or they can be combined with other skills to create something new.

Effect

creates small leaf shaped blades that follow the users directions.

Side/Secondary Effects

This offensive skill has some defensive qualities. The user can make the blades circle their body, attacking anything that gets close to attack.
Material Components
To be able to use this skill, a being must have an affinity that allows them to grow or condense small blades.
Applied Restriction
As these blades are condensed affinity, anything that would defend against the affinity (ie. fire to ice affinity and iron to mana affinity) will cause the dissolution of the blades. The blades require focus to condense and control, and a loss of focus will cause the blades to dissipate. Rebound causes cuts to open up on the skin of the user.
