Vincent I

Vincent I was Emperor of the Valerian Empire from 1910 to 1955. He became the emperor after his father, Alexander VII, died. He was only 25 when he inherited the throne. He married Alice Wolfe, Duchess of Dordington, who became Empress. Vincent would see the Empire through both World Wars and several smaller conflicts. He was a major backer of industrial and military expansion in the empire. He was also focused on improving civilian life. After 45 years of rule and at the age of 70 in 1955, Vincent abdicated the throne and passed it to his then 35 year old son, Crown Prince Justinian, who became Emperor Justinian I. Vincent had a major liking towards the military and industry and he made friends with many officers and wealthy businessmen. In 1947, Vincent was one of the leading figures for the formation of the United Nations. Vincent lived the rest of his life in retirement and died in 1992 at the age of 107 from old age. In 1995, the second of the new Maximillian Kelsen-class nuclear-powered carriers was named Emperor Vincent in his honor and he considered one of the most popular Emperors in the empire's history.
