A world with disconnected nations. Kingdoms, Strongholds villages and wild lands infected by disease and ill intent. Angels manage the world as if it were a game of chess. They do so at the instruction of their god. Each angel represents a religion dominating parts of the world. When god gives a vague command the angels must debate on what the instructions mean. They do agree on one thing; they choose a champion. This champion will be their king in this game of chess to enact gods will.
