A Little Encounter

At one point, the pieces have to cross each other. This is it.

Plot points/Scenes

Johan and Co. finally meet the Big Bad. Rowan is beyond fascinated with Johan and tried to seduce him. Finn really is not happy about that. More chaos ensues.

Structure

Exposition

"Well, hello, hello! My, my, my, can't believe I get you today!"   Johan stiffened in his place. "What do you want."   "Relax, darling!" The smoke began to dissipate, and Johan caught how something took form inside. "I've waited soooooooooooooooooo long to meet you! You won't even believe how much boredom I have to endure. Finn can be a dick if it's about you, do you know that?"   It caught Johan off guard. "What?"   When the smoke disappeared completely, a figure stepped out, and for the first time Johan's long burning curiousity died like a fire put out by waves.   Rowan looked nothing like Johan imagined he would. Nothing. And Johan had spent a good amount guessing what he would look like.   "You know I can read your mind, right?"   Johan blinked. "What?"   "Don't be so amazed," Rowan laughed. "I know, I know; I'm so dazzling! Amazingly handsome. A masterpiece, one would say. But this is not the time to be. It's not even my real form. I can imagine you drooling at my true form, which is good, because-wow, guess what-I love your form too!"   That, out of all the scenarios Johan played in his head, is not something he expected this bitchass demon would say. It never even occured to him.

Conflict

"Just tell me where Finn is."   Rowan waved his hand dismissively. "You don't really think I would actually tell you, right? I expect you to be smarter, Babe."   "Don't call me babe," what the fuck is even wrong with this djinn. He scared Johan in an entirely different way.   "I mean no harm on you," Rowan said. "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. Sometimes I just forget not everyone like to be intimate on first meetings. But, in case you will reconsider, my offer still stands."   "Your what?"   Instead of answering, Rowan just gestured on himself, head to toe. Johan really didn't know how to respond.

Rising Action

When Johan just stood frozen, Rowan tilted his head. "You're not into djinn, are you?" he asked.   Johan thought he was going insane because Rowan sounded like he's genuinely disappointed. "I'm not into anyone," and he felt incredibly stupid for engaging in such conversation with the king of djinn, who lit chaos in his nation.   "Not even one?"   "I'm asexual," Johan said. "Aromantic too."   Rowan's eyes went wide. "Oh, shit, I haven't heard worse news than that for centuries," he shook his head. "I mean, you do you, but it sucks, you know? I haven't been genuinely interested in anyone since, like, last century I guess? I don't know exactly but yeah-around that time. Sorry, my memory is kinda shitty."

Climax

"Are you always like this?" Johan asked, finally, because he really couldn't hold it anymore.   "Like what?"   "Just... hitting on someone at first meeting?"   "Oh, absolutely," Rowan snickered. "Contrary to popular beliefs, I am affectionate. I love people! In a casual hook ups way. But you, Johan, you are special. I haven't been so attracted to anyone. What kind of pelet are you using?"   Johan stared. "Pelet work on djinns?"   "Oh, you mean you don't use one?" Rowan stared back. They stood in silence before Rowan dramatically looked down and muttered under his breath. What the fuck, he said, which is everything Johan could think right now.   "Okay, sorry for that one. That was unnecessary and rude. My apologies." Rowan offered a smile.   Johan didn't respond. He wasn't sure he can.   "But really, though, Johan. I really do like like you. A lot. Which is strange and questionable even for me. But, like, whatever-what I'm saying is, I like you, and when I like people I do them favors. So here's yours."   In a blink of eye, Rowan was gone.

Falling Action

And then appeared right next to him, whispering, before Johan could even react.   "I'll let you know a secret of mine," his voice was raspy. "I can't always read thoughts. It takes a lot to do that shit."   Johan froze. Rowan was so close, his breath tickling Johan's ears. For a moment, Johan felt like he was vanishing in a video transition style, but then he snapped out of it and pushed Rowan until the man stumbled a little.   "That's bullcrap," Johan sneered. "You're not to be trusted. You just want to confuse me, doing all this."

Resolution

Rowan shrugged. "Can't change your mind even if I tried. Doesn't mean it's right."   "What are you saying?"   "Johan, Johan, sweet autumn boy Johan. I'll play your game. You want Finn back? You can."   Johan swore his heartbeat skipped a beat. "What?"   Rowan smiled. "I'll lighten my terms for Finn's contract, but you have to do my biddings. You want Finn released from me? Doable, in exchange for you. A contract for a contract. What say?"
