Exo Corps Initiation

The Exo Corps Initiation is the process in which members of Aegis Security are trained and then admitted to the Exo Corps. The Exo Corps is the most elite and prestigious of the various branches of Aegis Security, and requires at least five years of service for the corporation, ten successful missions, an official recommendation, and passing a gruelling training exercise. Even with these stringent requirements, over ninety percent of hopeful applicants drop out before graduation. The training has been compared to that of special forces, such as the US Navy SEALs or the Russian Spetsnaz.

The physical requirements to even begin the training are tough - pushups, pullups, situps, running, and an obstacle course with limited breaks. There is also a screening for reaction time and nervous system compatibility, as Aegis Security utilises direct neural interface exosuits. Once the initial trials have been passed, the actual training begins at Aegis Security Headquarters. Over an eight month period, candidates go through some of the most rigorous training on the planet, comparable to special forces. This includes marksmanship, explosives, close quarters engagements, torture resistance, hostage rescue, driving, parachuting, diving, and stealth. Once concluded, each candidate that passed every training course is inducted into the Aegis Security Exo Corps and provided with their own combat exosuit in an elaborate ceremony at the very top of Aegis Security Headquarters.
