Earth 2043 A.D. The world is dying. Resources are running out quickly, while technology booms trying to mask the stench of death. Pollution has skyrocketed, water is polluted, cities are being destroyed either by warfare or flame as both tensions and temperatures rise. Disease runs rampant. More and more species are dying. The rainforests have died out, in their place, crumbling cities, factories, and military bases. The economy is collapsing as governments disappear, in their place militant rule. It is a fight for survival, and nowhere more than in the United States. The government has adopted full control as Congress rages war against the rest of the world, determined to prove their superiority. Still, hope flutters as the blindfold is tightened over the citizens' eyes. A new medical program formed to put an end to the medical crisis plaguing the U.S. known as the Super Soldier Upgration Program run by Bioturnetics Healthcare. Their pitch is to solve all medical needs, making one feel refreshed and anew. They promise to put an end to not just cancer and other life-threatening diseases, but they have also found a cure for depression and anxiety. The catch? While it is painted as a glimmer of hope in the darkened world, Biotunretics' program is actually a front for the military to remove all emotions and functions of a human, turning them into mindless soldiers for the war. Still, there are those that know there is more than meets the eye and are ready to rebel. A group emerges formed of teenagers that lie closer to the center of the government's web than previously thought. After a friend goes missing, they make it their mission to rescue him and in the process, unravel the impending destruction of the world's last outpost, America. What they don't know is the soldiers are stronger than they seem, built to overcome the group's plans as they make them. Will they succeed? Or will a new breed of terror overcome them?
