Bran'Aredh

It was said of Bran'Aredh that it was as enduring as the endless sand, and the people as hard as the desert winds. No foe ever took her, not even the fabled armies of Bondye who waged a holy war against them for more than ten years. No one ever crossed their borders that they had not invited in. Yet it came to pass that one by one the seven cities of Bran'Aredh, the seven daughters of Rel'Alor, the sun-god, withered and died, leaving behind them only ruins and ghosts.
Only the saeli-tuk, the desert monks, know what happened, but this is the one piece of history that they keep locked in their libraries and never speak of.
Only the bravest, or most foolish, dare pass the Zakk'Nath chasm and enter the desert, in search of old artefacts and treasures. Neither Rel'Alor nor the ghosts of the seven sisters are forgiving. The bright white bones left there attest to it.
