Torsen Tower

Purpose / Function

Originally just an observation tower, it was converted into a wizards tower in order to serve as a library, observatory and structure of political power.

Alterations

In order to make room for various materials a cellar was installed and the observatory required a window to be enlarged. Furthermore the floors were reinforced so that more stuff could be put in each of the floors.

Architecture

The two story structure was made of stone with the floors being made out of wood. The roof was held up with wooden beams and on top of that were stone shingles.

History

Originally constructed in order to provide an outpost towards the mountains in the north, it became the home of Frill Keno, a powerful wizard, when an iron ore vein was found nearby.

The area grew into a village, as Frill slowly corrupted into a cruel man, drunk on power. This resulted in the villagers being oppressed until they made a revolt.

While successful, Frill managed to cast a curse on the villagers, which ultimately led to the death of everyone.
