Bards of Beedle

Structure

The Bards of Beedle split themselves into tiers based on knowledge and time spent as a Beedle the Bard. Those that have been a part of the Bards of Beedle since the begging are considered the "leaders" of the Bards of Beedle. These eldest bards spend their time beyond the multiverse, discovering what lies beyond the void, what is beyond the gods, what is beyond the outer planes, and what exists outside of time. The next tier consists of bards who have been a part of the Bards of Beedle since the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment. These bards, extremely revered and few in number, spend their time travelling through time and other planes of existence. These bards search for ancient mysteries, old knowledge, and stories from a time before the Age of Enlightenment. The next tier of Beedle the Bard has been a part of the group since the beginning of the Age of Mortality. This group of bards travel around the planes and the universe following the mystical music that they hear. They find world changing events which they form into song. Occasionaly, these bards will deem a helping hand for whichever side they favor necessary. The next tire of bards are those who have been a bard of needle for 1000 years. They spend their time exploring the world and other planets, learning the stories of many locations and people, finding the songs of these new places. The bards who spent 500 or less years as a bard spend their time travelling their planet, finding smaller songs and cultures. Finally, the bards who spent 100 or less years as a Bard of Beedle learn the ways and sharpen their songsense in a large town or region.


All people who join the Bards of Beedle replace their current name with Beedle the Bard, and no longer age.

Culture

The Bards of Beedle know the world was formed by countless songs, and it is their goal to find these songs and any new ones created by people who have an impact on the world around them, large or small. Essentialy, they are the ultimate historians, but instead of recording the information they find, instead they find the song of said information and spread it around the multiverse.

The Bards of Beedle continue the work of the first Beedle the Bard, who is fabled to have been the first being in existance. The first Beedle the Bard seems to have acended beyond godhood, and now they listen to the multiverse through the Bards of Beedle.

Public Agenda

The Bards of Beedle's goal is to find the songs of the multiverse. These songs are found by Beedle the Bards, and then shared with other Beedle the Bards. These songs act similarly to a history textbook, sharing the story of countless cultures and worlds, but through song.

Assets

Material goods do not matter to them at all, however they choose to live a modest adventuring life. They travel from inn to inn, town to town, collecting songs and stories. If they do require anything, they trade it for knowladge, or magically produce it from their knapsack. They try to live less materialistic lives so they don't have to worry about physical objects, what they do, and connections may be formed between the holder and the object. However, all Bards of Beedle possess a magical instrument which helps them play songs and move around the world. As a Bard of Beedle spends time as a part of the organization, their instrument slowly becomes more powerful, allowing for planar and eventually time travel on top of long range teleportation.
