Dynasia

Dynasia; named after the God who's body was destroyed and formed the landmass - this gigantic disk floats through time and space as an anchor for the conjoining planes. At the centre of the disk is a colossal Pangea, divided into two continents where many nations have emerged. At the heart of this is a body of water spanning hundreds of miles - known as The Firstwater - where all power, all magic, and all life supposedly flows from, the tears cast by Dynasia when she was torn apart by the other Gods. From here, many rivers flow outwards towards the coasts of the continents, and into the sea. The sea flows outwards for thousands of leagues, past islands and other isolated communities, and eventually plummets over the edge of the world.   As ages went by after the land was formed, the children of the Gods - the many races of humanoids and beasts - emerged from the Firstwater and went forth into the world to build civilisation. At first the remaining Gods were afraid that Dynasia would return, but over the eons - as their searches proved fruitless time and time again - they accepted their victory and the worship of the mortal races.
