Symptoms

First Rank: The infected suffers a constant low-grade of pain throughout their bones.
Non-Salamanders experience this as a feverish burning, while Salamanders describe it as a terrible chill.
Second Rank: The infected begins to experience delusions of paranoia and megalomania.
They begin to see all others as both beneath them, and as threats to their safety.
Debility: Confused (Wisdom)
Third Rank: The pain increases into mental and physical agony, exacerbating the delusions.
Debility: Sick (Constitution)
Fourth Rank: The delusions reach fever pitch, and the infected will begin to engage in voluntary anthrophagy in order to quiet their fever and mind.
Debility: Stunned (Intelligence)
