The Black Saints
These elite members are for the use of the Mistress of Elegance. All of these soldiers are prepared to die in service to the goddess. The members have special privileges inside the Crimson Kingdom while also achieving a higher social standing. If any member retires with the rank of captain, commander, or lieutenant the Children Of Endowment take care of them till they die.
Composition
Manpower
There are seventy-six guards at any given time. If one retires or dies, they are replaced in short order. At all times there are five soldiers guarding the Mistress of Elegance. There are a total of ten units of seven men each. In addition, there are five trainees and the captain to fill out the rank.
Weaponry
Every member has a Short Glaive, whip, and Wrist Shot. They all wear a suit of mithril scale mail.
Structure
The captain is in overall charge and at any time can take any squad as his own. Each squad has a commander and lieutenant in charge of the remanding soldiers. At the bottom are the trainees that prepare themselves to be placed into service at a moment's notice.
Tactics
The unit works in 5 man fire teams with a commander and four grunts. The remaining members of the squad are backup. They have trained for years in these formations, knowing how to coordinate with other units and the members for maxim efficiency.
Training
If not on duty or resting, they are training. The champions have a rigorous training regime to keep them in top fighting condition.

Upkeep
The maintenance on this squad is quite stiff, but the church handles all payments.
Recruitment
To even apply for the position, you must be a member of the Children Of Endowment as well a have a minimum of 5 years combat experience.
Whenever they lose a member, they open a recruitment tourney. The time between the loss and the competition is never more than a week. All eligible applicants will report to the Fallen Saint Stadium. Only the first 100 applicants are allowed to participate. The tournament consists of both one-on-one as well as five-on-five battles. As the applicants fight, the captain and the commanders will score the individuals on many abilities. After two days full of battles, the award ceremony will be held. With input from his commanders, the captain chooses who will become the next member of this elite squad.
