Mountainstorm

The Mountainstorm is a Warhammer made for a giant. It is 8 feet long with a wicked-looking head upon it. Even though this weapon is quite large, it is very lightweight. Even though it was designed for a giant, it only had one giant owner in its long history. For us regular folk, this weapon closely resembles a very well-made Maul.
Most of what is known about this ancient artifact is from its final owner Dramoathurul Kaina. From her accounts, the weapon is impossibly light due to its construction from mithril. The shaft and are covered in ancient Aceti. These runes will glow a brilliant blue when certain powers are activated in the hammer. It has also been noted in combat logs from the War Of Nightmares that during many battles that Dramoathurul fought. From her location on the battlefield, loud crashes of thunder and even lightning strikes would be noticed.
When Dramoathurul died, there was many a soul that wanted this weapon. There are stories of many fights over ownership after her demise. However, it has been lost in time. It is believed that it is somewhere in the Dark Lands today. It always seems to end up back in the Ancient Slopes almost like it wants to be home.

Significance

The first known appearance is from before recorded history. As the story goes, Mutziar the Thunderbringer, a champion of the giants, had this Warhammer forged for him by the greatest fire giant smith. Then it was blessed by the goddess Katia herself. Throughout history, there have been scattered reports here and there of it resurfacing. The last known wielder of the massive weapon was Dramoathurul Kaina the Champion of the Empire. It is said that she decimated an entire horde of orcs all by herself using this giant weapon.
