Dame Elaine Harding is the current holder of the title the Commander of the Red Rose and the leader of the Thorn Court. As one of the youngest holders of the title in the history, she has had to work hard to prove her worth to those who doubt her.

Elaine is a tall, serious woman, who carries herself very soldierlike. She has auburn hair, usually worn in a practical ponytail, and dark green eyes.

Personal history

Elaine Harding was born in the small village of Little Ilmoor, where she spent most of her childhood. She was mostly raised by her grandmother (and the other little old ladies of the village), as her mother sadly passed away at a young age, and her father was mostly absent - serving as a Thorn Knight, as she found out later in her life.

At some point, Elaine was brought to the Rosarium Tower by her father, a Commander of the Purple Rose by then. She showed a great potential right from the beginning, thus making it no surprise to anyone when she chose to join the ranks and was knighted.

Elaine proved to be and excellent, dutiful knight, who gathered praise from the higher ups and the fellow knights as well. After rising in the ranks, she was chosen as the next Commander of the Red Rose as one of the candidates in the history.
