Dream of Peace

Dream of Peace is an alternate history where WW1 lasted 50 years rather than four. Originally developed as a setting for my WIP novel. Though it is primarily focused on the Balkans and Europe, Dream of Peace covers many places and times, from the tundras of Alaska to the jungles of the Congo. Dream of Peace deals with many themes, each manifested in its characters, places, or even names. These themes include, but are not limited to: national identity, ultranationalism and how it can turn men into monsters, loss of morality, patriotism, love and war, and even racism.   Though the protagonist of the world is Zivojin Pajic, a Serbian soldier fleeing prosecution for his crimes; Dream of Peace includes many characters, historical or otherwise. Despite being an alt-WW1, Dream of Peace includes a few Cold War era conflicts, such as the Rhodesian Bush War, and several other post-decolonization wars.
