Maso Grand Holdings
Maso Grand Holdings is the current holder of all deeds, titles, and most operations of the Maso Grand Inn and its supporting operational businesses. Principle owner of the company is Helena "Slany Pes" Kratky who takes an active role in the dail operations at the crossroads.
Structure
Maso Grand Holdings is organized as a partnership with Helena "Slany Pes" Kratky as majority owner. She has accepted investment from local merchants, who use their influence with the organization to maintain supply contracts and minor regional nobles, mostly as a simple investment return on their own time spent in the casino adn to appease their wives by supporting the arts though performances at the theater within the The Maso Grand Inn .
Culture
Despite Helena's former profession as gambler and con artist, she runs an upright and honest operation. She works hard to eliminate corruption, thievery, and cheating throughout the operation, dealing harshly with those who cross the line. All operations attempt to bring the highest quality and service to its patrons, paying good wages and working with suppliers to maintain high standards of their farm and ranch goods for fair pricing.
History
This organization, led by Helena, was created to purchase the operational businesses and properties of the Maso crossroads, with exceptions being permanent housing and the Draggin Inn. The original merchants group that owned this successful syndicate of operations grew wealth beyond their expectations and chose to sell out to another investment group. The second owners, MGC Ltd., set out to squeeze more profits from its investment, attempting to put suppliers against each other, raising prices across the board for its retail services, and cutting pay for workers. The reputation and traffic at the crossroads diminished to the point, where Helena was able to make an acceptable offer to MGC Ltd. to abandon their plans and sell out of their losing investment.
Having been a prominent patron of the crossroads, Helena recognized the changes and seized upon the opportunity to stop the downward trend, renew the crossroads to it's former level, and then lead it to greatness and wealth beyond.
