Mythology & Lore
According to the church of Tyr and the Lipa, the divine book of the religion, Tyr was a brave warrior that lived many and many years ago in Dorius. They say that he very skilled with the blade, and defeated every foe that hurt the weak. One day, Tyr encountered the most powerful and evil foe he had ever seen, he was a wizard named Carfir, who killed many to get more and more power. It was a close battle, but Tyr managed to win against the foe, gaining his power in the process.
With all of that force, Tyr became a god and tried to get followers to help him in his cause. But the religion of Tyr is not composed of only one god, they say that the spirit of Carfir continued to live, and also turned himself into a god even after his death. These two opposing forces are constantly in battle and they say that one day, Tyr is going to win his fight again and impose his justice in the entire world.
The stories involving interventions of Tyr generally depict him as a strong and tall man, with a thick beard, holding a broad sword, and wearing a heavy set of metal armor, but some people already saw him taking form as a lion or wolf.
Worship
The great majority of the followers of Tyr go to church every week and pray for safety every night, but the most serious ones, like clerics, paladins, and members of the Church read an entire segment of the Lipa every day at night, besides going to church always when possible.
