The Metalican Hotel and Casino

Located in Celesta, the Metalican Casino is a heavy metal casino with Distotia's edgiest live music.

Leadership

The Metalican is run by Kett Zipoff. Kett runs the casino with a very loose grip. Pretty much anything goes, as long as the casino ends the day with more money than they started with. Kett has covered every single inch of his body with some sort of metal, be it chains, zippers, or a breathing prosthetic arm made of metal.    Kett's public image is one of rebellion, and he owns that in the Metalican. Everyone there is prone to arguing, fighting against authorities, and flipping people off. Kett also plays guitar. He doesn't play for one specific band, but he will occasionally join the other live musicians during their shows.

Live Music

While the Metalican is a casino, a large portion of the space is dedicated to live music. There are two performance venues attached to the Metalican, one inside and one outside. These two venues always have something going on, but Kett saves the biggest shows for the night time. This makes the Metalican a horrible choice as a hotel, but a great destination for some late night action.

Crime

The Metalican is also the least safe casino in Celesta. People openly do public stunts in order to get some attention, and they usually have no regard for the collateral damage that they cause. Also, if someone gets pissed off (which happens quite often in casinos), they will take it out on the person next to them. There is literally an entire floor of the casino that doubles as a mosh pit.   For these reasons, the Metalican ironically attracts a lot of law enforcement. For something that is advertised as "anti-establishment," there are quite a lot of lawful officials who situate themselves inside the casino. Usually, the guards go undercover dressed as some sort of concert goer, but the second that they notice something dangerous starting, they intervene. Unfortunately, whenever a guard intervenes at a Metalican event, they are usually met with even more violence.
