Hugo Samuel Morales
Dr. Morales was a relatively unknown Venezuelan geologist prior to the disruption however he jumpstarted his rise to fame with his discovery of moralite deposits. These were odd deposits of an unknown mineral that started to develop in South America. He noticed that the strange ore had quite a few strange properties however, in his research of the substance, the most prominent and relevant property had always been its ability to repel organisms affected by the genetic disruption. Around this time the wilds started to grow in size and infamy. Sensing the looming threat he decided to use his knowledge of the effects of moralite for the greater good. In founding the World Restoration Project (W.R.P.), he started an organization whose purpose was to return the world to its original state, a state in which humans could live without fear of their own planet's growing power. To achieve this goal several technologies were developed including early prototypes for citadel dome tech.
Not long before this, The Guard had become a known organization associated with trying to explore and push back the Wilds. It soon came to the attention of Dr. Morales that while they had unadulterated access to any gear they could possibly think of their expeditions and extermination attempts were unsuccessful at best and devastating one-sided massacres at best. In response to these failures, Dr. Morales offered for W.R.P to partner with the guard. In exchange for lenient access to their resources, he would provide them with moralite powered technology in order to better repel the wilds. They were hesitant at first but in seeing the potential of moralite and the technologies being developed at W.R.P. and agreement was eventually reached.
Now Dr.Morales works as the W.R.P. CEO and he aims to continue to supply the guard with Moralite powered tools and weapons to protect the populace and finally eradicate the Wilds.
