The Camerons

This is the only living monarchy of Disonia, but the last name "Cameron" isn't used for the rulers in Willowdew anymore ever since 1978. Besides being the only Disonian monarchy that lived through the many rebellions and the 4th Civil War, there's another reason why the "Cameron"s are so infamous.   In 1780, King Joshua and Queen Loren Cameron had four children: Eleanor, William, Marianne, and Rosaline. Unlike other monarchs where William, the only boy, would take the place as the next heir to the throne, gender doesn't matter in this case. It heavily depended on age back then. Since the four kids were the same age, something had to be done. So, the only method the king and queen could think of was a test that was put onto them: the test of survival. From six years old, the kids were allowed to sabotage each other's chances at becoming a future heir. It started out with small things until it got deadly.   By the time they were nearly adults, they were finding ways to kill the others. The one thing is that the girls started targeting William since they figured out one thing: he outsmarted them and was always five paces ahead of them despite not doing as much sabotaging as the rest. William had to be the first to go before the sisters could focus on killing each other.   However, William had a plan figured out. He would have three different methods of killing off his sisters: Eleanor was to be cursed, Rosaline was to fall, and Marianne was to be impaled. How he did so felt too simple.   William visited Elder Mitchell, the well known wizard of magic and witchcraft. Mitchell gave the prince a vial which contained a curse that was to kill Eleanor within three days or less. William took the vial and tampered with Eleanor's drink, fully cursing her. She died on January 30th, 1798 at 17 years old.   The next one to go was Rosaline. There was a high tower that was locked off from the rest of the castle, so all it took was the perfect timing. William managed to take Rosaline from her bed and push her out of the window of the high tower. She perished on March 30th, 1798 at 17 years old.   The last one remaining was Marianne. This one was harder because she was seeing some semi strong guy named Damien, so William had to lure her away from him to work. All it took was "accidentally" taking Damien's life to take Marianne's as well. The "Star-crossed lovers" died on April 30th, 1798, both at 17 years old.   The only sibling standing was William, so when he came of age, he was crowned king of Willowdew. Was it really worth murdering your sisters just for a title and some elevated power?
