It is basically a modern day earth with some advanced technology, in terms of the overall feel of the world. Places will be named the same, but the layout and places in the countries/cities may be different. There are supernatural beings, such as demons, angels, cyclops, ect. Not everyone can use magic; you have to be born with it. Meaning, in this world, witches and wizards count as supernatural creatures just like demons.
