Barnard's Star

Barnard's Star is an ancient, very-low-mass red dwarf star with two planets in its orbit: the terrestrial Hemera and ice giant Aether. It is the third-closest star system to Sol at a distance of just 6 light-years. Though littered with debris from destroyed skgri'i technology, the system is a vitally important link in the interstellar transport network; being Earth's closest link to the Ophiuchus-Aquila region of sky, most Earthbound shipments of Altairi goods pass through the system.
