Clan Satochi
The Satochi Clan held the Prefecture of Shinzo for many generations, their claim dating back to the beginning of written record. The Satochi are traditionalists and were staunch allies of King Otori, Lord Satochi being one of his earliest supporters in the War of Succession. They are so close that many referred to Lord Satochi as the Kings Enforcer as the Lord took an active role in the politics of the lands, brokering peace in the Yosai Peasant Revolt. The clan had a favourable reputation among the people, known for being fair and honourable.
After executing Lord Satochi and his daughter, King Grisfin dissolved the Satochi Clan and gave their holdings to his loyal supporters.

Culture
Traditionalist
The Satochi Clan were traditionalists, adhering strictly to the nations laws, ethics and code of honour. Lord Satochi and King Otori were old friends and comrades and Lord Satochi was the Lord General of Hivokia, despite the kingdom not having a standing army. Because of this Satochi Clan values are grounded in Warrior Caste creed.
Elven
Many members of the Satochi Clan are elven; descended from a lineage that extends back to the Age of Mae originating from the Gods of Hivokia.They are at home in the heart of nature and the Clan has strong bonds with the natural world. Their longevity gifts them with a patience that is seen as indecisive by the shorter lived people of Hivokia.
Public Agenda
For most of the remaining Satochi Clan survival is their only concern. After its dissolution many of the Warrior Caste of the Satochi Clan became Ronin, masterless warriors travelling the islands in search of mercenary work. Others joined the criminal syndicate The Nameless or other similar outfits. A few band together in the Prefectures southern extremes, waging civil war upon the Pelonian Chieftain Nerangarel as the newly formed Ujimoto Clan.
Disbandment
The Satochi Clan faced the Pelonian army of Warlord Grisfin cos Lanre in the Pelonian invasion of Hivokia. After they landed in Hara Prefecture and marched toward Shinzo, Lord Morinari Satochi met the Warlord in open battle in Tsujin valley where the Satochi Clan was defeated and Lord Satochi captured. Lady Shio Satochi, the Lords daughter retreated with the remnants of the army to Daikoku village where she recruited from among the refugees of Hara Prefecture. Lady Satochi engaged in guerilla warfare against the larger Pelonian force, striking against Pelonian supply lines and liberating townships, dojos monasteries and other settlements from Pelonian control.
Lady Satochi and her forces fell into a trap set for them at Weeping Wood Temple. She was captured and her forces scattered in an ambush set by the Nameless Syndicate. Lady Satochi and her father Lord Satochi were executed in private, their heads displayed outside the walls of Koga city. With their deaths came the dissolution of the Clan.
