Mizu

Mizu is the name for Jin Kazama. Mizu is the name of the mage who taught them magic and has been assumed as a mantle. Mizu is nonbinary and is married to Jericho a non-magic man who raises their adopted children while Mizu provides for them. Mizu's motivation for obtaining The Veil is their eldest son is sick with what could be considered cancer. The top healers of Mizu's land can only help some of the pain and try their best to extend their son's lifespan however it is likely their son will die in 2 years' time. Mizu overall is a caring and gentle person who needed the power to protect those they love. Mizu's master sacrificed herself to save the young mage and from then on they vowed not to let harm come to those who truly know Mizu's name. As a warlord, Mizu is a strategic genius amassing wealth and warriors by the time they were only 21 taking over their entire continent. Because of the artifacts, Mizu has already obtained the currents around their land can be controlled easily and are managed to only allow those who they want in, and it would be a herculean feat to overcome these currents.
