The Havanir aim to spread peace, and even more so to live in peace with one another. For the most part, they aim to remain apart from whatever culture they're a part of (if it's not their own) and avoid the rest of the world's conflict.

The Havanir take their care for one another, and for everyone they come into contact with, very seriously. Parenthood and marriage are both considered high callings, due to their basis in nurturing and protecting those in your care. Abuse and neglect are both capital offenses and are harshly punished; often an offender will be severed from their community and those under their leadership given to someone else.
The Havanir are staunchly opposed to slavery of any kind, including genie use, and they're uncomfortable with Ayan magic due to its roots in manipulation and superiority.
Starting fights, or failing to peacefully end fights already started, are both considered errors and must be atoned for through acts of service. Competition is often frowned upon because it's believed to be a large part of Original Contention, but as the religion progresses and the Paradi come to strike more of a balance between the ideal and the realistic, carefully monitored friendly competition has become more common and has actually been found to have benefits.
