Identifying Characteristics
Like the other Pneumatics, Newell seems to have a sort of favour, to a certain wavelength of Humanities' photons, on the standard human visible spectrum. Newell himself having a range around 610 nm, typically called orange by many humans and species of Depthopolis. Along
Physical quirks
The leaves, seen in Newell's Hair, actually do absorb photons in the atmosphere, even at lower wavelengths. The color of these leaves though does not perfectly match the suspected hue of a material that would have the same absorption levels as Newell's leaves. It's suspected that the color may have either an additional purpose, or is really just cosmetic, but we can't rat that out just yet.
These leaves absorb the photons and are then absorbed into Chaotic Substrate (ChStr)
Apparel & Accessories
The Pneumatics by Cone of a Widow
Along with their favours in color, they seem to have favour in apparel as well. Like his brother Prota, Newell seems to have a well ingrained habit of being well-dressed, the reasoning is believed to be similar to Prota as well. The two believe in keeping a good image, essentially like any businessman, celebrity, or political figure, image is important, and as such the two with typically be seen in buttoned up clothing, even though it is very out of style in the modern age. Not too much is known of why Newell is dressed the way he is, Prota leans more into being a celebrity, with the demeanor he gives off and such. Newell on the other hand, does not wear a suit, which is not always seen commonly in human pre-discovery, it is certainly very odd.

Personal history
Newell is one of two of the newest Pneumatics allegedly. Stemming off from his brother Amp'd, making his place as part of the philosophers in the Pneumatics. Driven with the biggest desire out of any Pneumatic, to find THE TRUTH... The Pneumatics were already involved in the Christian church, but little did they actually care to learn, little did many of them do in general. Newell though, he wasn't like the others, he began standing out among them, making standoffs against his brothers, making them venture where they would not go. Eventually though, they changed. Over the course of only a year or two, most of the Pneumatics had gained countless amounts of experience in different fields, striving to become even better at what they do, for each other, and for a goal. To save people's lives by offering them eternal life. I will note most people who read this, I know you probably don't need to hear a whole thing about Christianity nor want to, but bear with this part a little longer; because in Newell's mind and then on to everyone else's, they really do think this is what they're doing. Like any Christian should expect though, it wouldn't be easy, the world's values can cloud the mind of a believer and without a way to distinguish the world from the beliefs of God, one can find himself lost.
Such is the way of time, life, and so on, change is inevitable. One night while all the Pneumatics slumbered, some special visitors would come to see their plunder. A rift was opened in the Pneumatics home dimension, we may need to take a step back though. In simple terms, the Pneumatics are multiple personalities of a character named Widow, who lives in a world, basically one to one with our own. The Pneumatics had some sort of mind-link with Widow, their knowledge and life experiences, coming from Widow, and Widow's actions being influenced by the Pneumatics. All is not well though, as the opening of a rift to their own dimension, broke the link they had with Widow. Now, without any way of reviewing the word of God, Newell was cast into darkness, forced to reconcile with this, but to no avail of salvation. His brothers, distraught as well by the situation, they were confined in a dimensional testing facility just outside La Artorica. This went on for a little less than what felt like forever to some of the Pneumatics, what could be a little less than two months, Newell though, manically depressed had become lost in thought, completely inept, unable to come to terms with what had just happened. After a while Newell then became ambitious, a thought raced in his head, if he didn't do something soon, the more knowledge of God's word would seep out eventually, so he began to write. Over the course of the next 2 months he would sit, alone, pondering what he could remember, racing through his head over and over to make sure to leave anything he knew on record. The Pneumatics, typically being separated at the time, came to find out they were being released. The news excited them all, but Newell still wasn't finished writing. They were assigned a living space in the slums, somewhat close to the dimensional testing facility, some 20 miles. Once they were all settled in Mayor Quetztake Yang had assigned them to a few testing sites to test their coordination in a group, to review their autonomy and potential as a future anti-terrorist defense group. All the Pneumatics participated in the tests, except for Newell, but by the end of the tests, about a week later. they were assigned into a new squadron for the ATDG, nicknamed "Dragon's Breathe", which was a squadron under the command of Yujesop Kalhek. Kalhek was not happy with Newell's lack of participating, and his fist ruled over Mr. Yang's when it came to official assignment. He ordered that Newell be deserted or sent back to the Dimensional Testing Facility. Yang luckily arranged it to be the latter, upset that he had finally started gaining the courage to speak to his brothers again, but yet already too late. The Pneumatics of course protested heavily, but Newell stopped it before they became to hostile, one of them though, Literi, argued to go with Newell. Kalhek was fine with it, he surmised it was already gonna be difficult to train 11 other rookies.
So, with that, Newell and Literi wander the streets of Depthopolis. Very early on they find an intriguing character, Spark, a reporter that encountered the pneumatics on their debut mission.
That is essentially the mainest jist of the Pneumatics introduction. I know it may be kinda hard to follow, but I haven't yet the time or the ideas for how a lot of/some of it goes still.
Education
Newell, like the rest of his Pneumatic brethren, grew up as an extension of the mind of a human named Widow. Though his personal inception may be new, he has the knowledge and know how to carry the rest of them on his back, helping them reach even taller peaks in their pursuits. Newell himself, reaches for his own peaks to, like any human, rigorously striving to know more and do better. Particularly though about Theology, The Bible mostly, is the study of which Newell has become attached to.
Failures & Embarrassments
Newell isn't some perfect Christian personality either. His biggest counterpart is Lest, who is a lot more inclined with a love for the world, and there will be stories where at times, they seem a lot more in tandem, but different in ways that still don't make them perfect images.
Mental Trauma
It should've already been noted that Newell is not very stable when in the absence of God's Word, going into a manic state until he could reach a minimum state of comfort. In the time that he spends in Depthopolis the more he can't feel, but knows he's straying away from God, getting more desperate to find a way back.
