After the war, the impossibly powerful spell that the giants cast to banish the dragons generated localized backlash on the Weave, resulting in an area where magic runs rampant. This drastically altered the economy of the area, which previously relied on magically enchanted and crafted items. Over the years, the once bustling town became a ghost town. As well, rumors began swirling of people who were not only immune to the wild magic surging through the area, but magic in general. These reports have yet to be confirmed, but the lack of interest by the Bloodstone Glade has lead many to dismiss these rumors as simple myths.
