Eritee (Eh-ree-tee)
Basic Information
Anatomy
A fully grown Eritee stands at about six feet tall on four cloven hooves. The majority of the Eritee's body resembles a mature male deer with strong haunches and sprawling antlers atop their heads. Their coloration ranges from light blue, cyan, green and occasionally violet with white speckles across its back. The antlers are usually of a light blue color and fade into transparence as they extend outward and grow. The most stark feature of the Eritee would be at the end of it's long, feathered neck lies the face of a barn owl with dark, expressionless black eyes surrounded by the iconic white facial disk.
Growth Rate & Stages
Although an Eritee younger than an adult has yet to be reported, the relative age can be determined by the length and breadth of it's antlers. This method of age identification can be unreliable, however, as the antlers fade into complete transparency the longer they grow.
Ecology and Habitats
Eritee are only known to live within the Realm of the Familiar, serving as it's watchmen, guardians and guides. At this time, Eritee have not been reported to exist outside of the Realm.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
One need only be within a few feet of an Eritee to be able to sense the extrasensory power emanating from this creature. Should a visitor attempt to harm any aspect of the environment, several Eritee with respond to the disturbance in a shockingly short period of time to subdue or neutralize the threat.

Common Etiquette Rules
Eritee are exceedingly polite and stoic. They treat every visitor to the Realm with the utmost respect and expect the same treatment in return. Should an Eritee feel disrespected, they may engage in a display of dominance to remind the offender of their dominance over their home.
History
From the conception of the Realm of the Familiarthe Eritee have served as the guides of the Realm. Whenever a humanoid is proposed to visit, a familiar must communicate with the Eritee regarding the visit. Upon the humanoids arrival, they will be designated an Eritee to escort them throughout their time in the dimension. This serves to protect the humanoid from more nefarious familiars inhabiting the land as well as the keep watch over the humanoid to prevent them from causing harm, themselves.
