Delta Earth

Earth has been as it’s always been - 7.3 billion humans strong, just as heated and full of existential dread as it’s always been. However, way before the modern age, before the first humans began to even exist, Earth had been bombarded by an unknown projectile wave, sending remnants of power into the ground to be buried and forgotten.   Unfortunately, since then, things have been a little weird. Paranormal activities and supernatural occurrences clustered around these Remnants even though they were miles beneath the surface, and myths and legends arose of situations where something was more than average. Enhanced creatures that scored the earth and set fire to the trees. Humans who possessed extraordinary abilities. These remnants of power were soon discovered, warred over, fell from the human sphere of knowledge again and again.   Welcome to a world defined by its battles, decided by the uniqueness of its power players, and home to many wars-to-be-won. And, in between conflict and strife, the (somewhat) normal lives of its inhabitants.
