[Authors notes; Eagaru is one of two main characters, in my current Work in Progress. He is a point of view character along with the protagonist Khimari Gallus, as well as the protagonist's rival (it's a rivalry story like Naruto and Sasuke) and the stories chosen one (yeah, it's a chosen one story too).]

Physical appearance:
Athletic, he's tall and broad shouldered. Like all Lukdunnites, he has thick, curly, red-hair and a caramel skin tone.
Strange or unique physical attributes:
His above average height, athletic build, and golden eyes all demonstrate and denote his divine heritage.
Favorite clothing style/outfit:
a semi-shear sky blue himation, worn belted at the waist with a leather and gold wide belt, the himation is draped over the left shoulder allowing the excess fabric to hang freely behind the shoulder. His hair is braided into cornrows and is adorned with a gold crown with yellow and blue sky stones. Black eyeliner highlights his eyes. Gold bands wrap around his left and right biceps. He sports two thin gold necklaces and one thick gold necklace that is set with matching yellow and blue sky stones. He wears gold rings and gold bracers on his forearms that are also beset with yellow and blue skystones. His leg bracers are in the same manner. He wears the finest leather sandals Lukdun has.
Where does he or she live? What is it like there?
He lives in his mother's house, the Priest-King's First Wife's palace, a large estate built in Koh's inner-city. However, he's currently living in 2nd Squads Barracks located in Koh's outer-city.
Defining gestures/movements (i.e., curling his or her lip when he or she speaks, always keeping his or her eyes on the ground, etc.):
He often gestures with his palms up, has good posture, and maintains eye contact.
Things about his or her appearance he or she would most like to change:
A broken nose from a physical altercation with his half-brother, one in which he lost.
Speaking style (fast, talkative, monotone, etc.):
Energetic, confident, engaging, and charismatic.
Pet peeves:
People are generally good. Dislikes inauthenticity.
Fondest memory:
The only time his father has ever praised him. It was the day he first harnessed Koh's relic's latent kami (a kind of magic/primary element that makes up everything). A moment that marked him as a Household Vassal and a sign that he'd be compatible as a Relic User, a true potential heir to the throne should something happen to the eldest son, his brother. Best of all, he done it nearly two years younger than his eldest brother at only 13.
Hobbies/interests:
He has a wide range of interests that can be fleeting at times. He is however almost always interested in sports like rover,
gaku, and hunting.
Special skills/abilities:
He's an athletic prodigy and a Household Vassal (a type of magic user). He has a remarkably strong ability to manipulate and use kami (magic/primary element that makes up everything). His own kami is storm dominant (a unique combination of water and air elements that dominates the person's earth and fire elements), like all of Koh's Household Vassals.
Insecurities:
A need to be the best/meet and exceed the high standards his eldest brother set and society holds him to. He associates love and positive attention to success. Tries desperately to win/earn his father's love and praise, to gain his attention and affection.
Thing he or she needs to learn:
Talent alone will only go so far.
Quirks/eccentricities:
Prays regularly and always expects the best, even to the point were he's genuinely shocked when things don't go well. Always gives praise and thanks to the gods and goddesses when things do go well.
Temperament (easygoing, easily angered, etc.):
A "people person," Eagen is friendly, open, communicative, and loves to be noticed. A side effect of this is that he's almost entirely unused to rejection. When he does experience rejection, it is jarring and upsetting. When he's uninterested he noticeably disengages activities.
Negative traits:
He takes all criticism as a personal insult. He relies almost solely on his talents. He's over-aggressive and arrogant. Only works hard if he's interested in the work and his interests can be fleeting and doesn't always see things through to the end. He's over-confident in himself. Sees himself as superior to others.
Things that upset him or her:
Criticism, rejection,
Things that embarrass him or her:
Being shown up and failure
This character is highly opinionated about:
He's both political and patriotic as well as extremely devote
Any phobias?
Things that make him or her happy:
Working/discussing things he's interested in.
Family (describe):
His father he sees on occasion, though only on formal ones. His mother too is often not around. For most his life he was raised by his wetnurse, a slave, that he has a motherly relationship with. He has a close, though distant, relationship with his oldest brother, the apparent heir to the throne. One in which he idolizes him. He also has an older half-brother, born to the Second King's Wife, he lives in a different house with his own mother and her retinue. Outside of this, his next closest relation is another slave, his tutor, who takes on a father figure role. Finally, he has several cousins of the same age that he's good friends with, specifically his best friend Elfander. At 13 he starts training with Rajicles, the second strongest of the 196 Household Vassals. Spending a lot of time together, he quickly develops a strong relationship with Rajicles.
Deepest, darkest secret:
He desires to be king. Sees and assumes he's the best.
Reason he or she kept this secret for so long:
His eldest brother is the heir not him. It's a treasonous thing for him to desire the thrown.
Other people’s opinions of this character (What do people like about this character? What do they dislike about this character?):
He is well liked and thought of as a prodigy, a true son of Eagon. Confident and fair, he's a natural born leader that people gravitate towards. A favorite of Eagle, seemingly blessed in every way.
Favorite bands/songs/type of music:
Military Parade (horns and percussion)
Favorite movies:
Favorite TV shows:
Favorite books:
Flight of the Frog, a story about his great-great-great-great-grandfather, Eagen, and the 13 Household Vassals (the first Household Vassals, one belonging to each of the 13 aristocratic clans of Koh) who together overcame the Demon King, the Fire Belly Toad, and brought peace to the land.
Favorite foods:
spiced uruk mana (orc meat and spices wrapped in mana, a type of unleavened bread, and then fried)
Favorite sports/sports teams:
Ogaku, which can mean the martial art (a kind of combination of Greco-Roman wrestling with Mui Tai) or one of its tournaments that are often held during festivals. He's also an avid hunter.
Rover, a kind of cross between football and dodgeball, is his favorite sport. Though the numbers of players per team can vary, roughly half of one's team forms a line roughly 5 yards opposite of the opposing teams line. The remaining half lines up behind the first line. Usually 2 rows of balls are placed in between (sometimes clumps of mud or even dung are used instead). Once play starts the both teams charge the middle ground, trying to gain possession of the balls. Upon collision, the players on the first line will either block an opposing player or attack, trying to charge the opponents second line. Meanwhile, the players on the second line will throw the balls at the opponents. If a player is taken to the ground or is hit with a ball they're eliminated from play. Catching a ball allows an eliminated player to return to play.
Political views:
Autocratic, divine right/absolute monarch, optimistic, survival of the fittest, meritocracy, structural-functionalist,
Religion/philosophy of life:
like all Lukdunnites, he worships the Avians (a group of gods and goddesses) the most important of which is Eagle the god of the heavens and patron god of the city-state of Koh. His family are the representatives of Eagle and make up Eagle's priests. As such they, specifically his father, the highpriest and king, own the majority of the land, or at least in theory.
Physical health: very good health with a strong constitution.
Dream vacation:
An exploration into the unknown, to take a lukdun longship across the Kingfishers Bay to the vast uncharted lands that lay just south and west of his kingdom. To uncover its secrets and mysteries and defeat its dangers.
Description of his or her house:
Occupying a large complex spanning about 30 meters by 50 meters. Walled on all sides by mudbrick, 3 meters tall and half a meter thick, there's one entrance a large gate house, made of a wooden frame with non-weight bearing walls (built to withstand earthquakes), it's about a meter taller than the walls, with a sloped over hanging roof. It extends nearly 2 meters in both directions from the wall and occupies a central location on the southern wall and is 10 meters in length. Great wooden doors with flower motives carved into them gard the entrance. Housed within the gatehouse is a shrine to Pidgeon, the god of comings and goings, amongst other things. Beyond this is a large courtyard complete with a garden, a large pond complete with live sirens (a type of fish) in it, and a dwarf wushu tree with a bench under it for studying and meditation along with two alters. The larger, grandeur, one is for Eagle, the second smaller one is for their ancestors.
3 large estates in the same style, a wooden frame raised of the ground with non-weight bearing walls, run along the eastern, western, and northern walls, one each, all centered along it's respective wall. The largest, the northern one is his mother's, and his, residence. His brother has recently taken up residence in the western one. The eastern one is occupied by her household slaves.
The northern and western residences follow the same layout, with the only real difference being the northern one is larger. The eastern one is built to the same external layout and dimensions as the western one, but internally is divided into apartments with shared living spaces. A common feature all three buildings share are shrines to both Hen, the goddess of the hearth, and individual housefinches, or god/goddess of the house.
