In this land, the Domvari, Sun'Shönai, Orikai, and Velkyrai awoke, and the kingdom of Sun'Ashar was founded. Here, there once stood the shining city of Sun'Aman. Here was fought the First War. Here, Ne'ertsos waged his War of Blight, and destroyed the kingdom of the People of the Sun. It was millennia before noble heels would tread this land, giving it plenty of time for Vanaya to heal it of its wounds. It was Lindish Morai who first set their boots upon the shores, and established the kingdom of Mëria, and their capitol of Amia. They spread across the whole continent, building their homes and tending the land as they had back in the East. It was not long before others came, however. Rhumni and Saxons came, and made their own estates in the kingdom. Áfondin was established in the South, Östland in the Northeast, Valgrand and Viktoria in the West, as well as Borealum North of those. There eventually came a time that these estates wanted to have their power above the king's, and civil war tore through the land. Ne'ertsos, awakened, took advantage, and sent an army South to the land. His armies were halted, however, by one who had taken up the blades of Belligos, and the gates of Mjolgart were shut once more. Now, Mëria is a divided and tense country, where the various states squabble and bicker in their high houses. All the while, a black shadow looms, weaving webs of discord throughout the land.
