Draconic
Draconics were created by the two draconic gods Bahamut and Tiamat.
It is a rather big family including various creatures ranging from beast-like to humanoid.
The family of Draconics is segmented into different subfamilies.
There are six different subfamilies of draconics, which differ from one another regarding various traits.
The six subfamilies include Dragons, Wyverns, Amphitheres, Wyrms, Lindwurms and Drakes.
Dragons have four legs and wings. The only species in the Draconic family, that are Dragons are the Chromatic and Metallic Dragons, also called True Dragons for that reason. Moreover they are the only Draconics that continiously grow in power the older they get. A True Dragon therefore is strongest at the moment of their death.
Wyverns are creatures with two hind legs and wings, that function as forelegs as well. Wyverns are mostly Naturalistic Draconics or Pseudodragons.
Amphitheres look very close to Wyverns, they do not possess hind legs, however. Amphithers are commonly Naturalistics, but can also be found among Pseudodragons.
Wyrms are the closest to resembling snakes, with a long limbless body that tapers off into a sting.
Lindwurms and Wyrms are not only quite similar to each other, with the main difference being the number of limbs, but they are also rather closely related. Lindwurms, in comparison to Wyrms, have two front legs.
Drakes tend to have shorter bodies, than Wyrms and Lindwurms, and four legs. They could also be described as Dragons without wings.
Basic Information
Growth Rate & Stages
The first stage is the Hatchling stage after hatching from the egg. Wyrmlings are the equivalent of toddlers: gawky, clumsy and extremely bad at surviving on their own.
After being a Hatchling, a Draconic reaches its second stage of life. It becomes a Youngling, curious and inquisitive about everything surrounding it. Youngling Draconics are the most likely to wander around far from their originating territory. A Youngling also has to survive on their own and out of their parents care.
Most Draconics that are encountered or kept as a working force are Adult Draconics. These are less curious than there younger counterparts, but still enjoy wandering around to investigate and discover parts of their territory or new areas, especially the more intelligent specimen.
The last stage in a Dragons life is being an Ancient Dragon. This stage, however, is only really existent in the Metallic and Chromatic Dragons. Ancient Dragons are knowledgeable and far more peaceful than Adult ones. This stage in their life, however, is only reached by very few individuals.
Although this is true for most members of the Draconic family there are few (further removed) exceptions.

Domestication
The main problem with the progress of domestication was the solitariness of draconics. It was successfully bred out of especially Naturalistic Draconics, but sometimes still shines through in some draconics.
