The Mausoleum

This large building on a small island, only reachable by boat or by a narrow bridge from the elven platforms, houses the bodies of Highport's more well-to-do families and denizens. Typically, the funerals of those laid to rest here happen at night with an ostentatious torchlit procession of boats (usually from the Southern Ward as the bulk of such families reside there). The bridge from the platforms is only 5 feet wide and used primarily by those who tend the tombs and keep the mausoleum's silver granite exterior glistening.
