A Revenant's flames can thrive off being harmed, and few things harm the undead quite like silver. The agony caused by it is nothing so mundane as a physical pain, instead burning the undead's very being. As such some revenants have begun to carry small silver nails that they stab into themselves, causing soul searing agony but helping to fuel the fires of rage that are their source of strength. Revenants should keep in mind that if the silver is still in there when they enter the essential state then any priest in the area will have a much simpler time reducing them to little more than dust for humans to tread upon.

Effect

Reduce maximum Essential to empower the Revenant's attack until it is removed. Removing takes time. Trinary Stats take time to recover after removal.

Ex: 25% reduction in essential for 25% strength increase

Enhancements

• Barbed - Thorns on the nail cause reduction to maximum physical to further fuel the revenant's attacks
• Brain Spike - The revenant jabs the nail into their head reducing maximum Magic to empower the revenant more
• Purest Silver - Increases attack by even more however maximum essential is reduced severely as long as the spike remains
• Bane of the Dead - The nail reduces all Trinary Stats by a severe amount in order to send the revenant to all new heights of rage and suffering. Increases attack supremely. Requires Barbed, Brain Spike and Purest Silver.
• Silver Etched - The spike is only slightly silver, reducing stats less but gifting less increase to attacks
• Added Handle - The spike is given a handle reducing removal time. Cannot Take Melting Point
• Sheath of Seared Flesh - The revenant has become more acclimated to the nails presence and removal, while still painful the effects wear off much quicker when removed. Requires Long Handle. Cannot take Melting Point
• Melting Point - The spike melts due to the flames of the revenant making the buff permanent this stage. Cannot be removed by player or ally.

Cosmetic Options

Some revenants have taken to stylizing the nails they carry, carving the names, or images of something that fuels their hatred, or even using daggers or other sharp items.
