  • The origin of Ignis is lost in time.
  • year 19 - After a long political standoff, the Court invokes a rarely-used loophole to remove Queen Christian Todoroki from power.
  • year 21 - Queen Helen Todoroki is removed from power and imprisoned after her ties to the thieves' guild come to light.
  • year 57 - King Brumage Todoroki ascends to the throne after assassinating his 7 siblings.
  • year 77 - King Brumage Todoroki of Ignis poisons the governor of Alinea's nearest province, then invades. Ignis doubles its population.
  • year 90 - The Court decides that any child capable of bearing arms must join the army.
  • year 95 - King Brumage Todoroki takes his own life after many years spent battling a terrible disease.
  • year 108 - Alinea annexes a portion of Ignis' forest. Alinea nearly doubles its territory.
  • year 110 - Ignis seizes territory from Alinea. Ignis doubles its population.
  • year 116 - Queen Joan Todoroki is beheaded by an usurper, King Murdoch Todoroki.
  • year 126 - Terrible casualties among both soldiers and citizens mar Ignis' conquest of a Sinnochae province. Sinnochae loses a quarter of its population.
  • year 137 - Hunta Todoroki succeeds King Murdoch Todoroki as the new King of Ignis.
  • year 138 - Saewaru Illing brings to justice every member of the bandit gang that's preyed on caravans for years.
  • year 140 - Saewaru Illing goes mad and dies homeless.
  • year 143 - Asulf Todoroki replaces Hunta Todoroki as the kingdom's new King.
  • year 143 - When Ignis' head priest opens a meeting of the Court with a prayer for the poor, he is removed from his position.
  • year 150 - The King's Chroniclea are commissioned by the Court. The work is an epic that directly connects the lineage of the King to the gods.
