Bridge of Worlds

The Bridge of Worlds is a land bridge linking the continents of Murandoaand Slederon. It is bordered by the Erathspring Sea and Dragonchannel to the north, and the Lucine Gulf and Bay of Daphinia to the south.
Since early history, the Bridge has been a focal region linking the two continents, often heavily contested between different powers and sporting a diverse pool of different races and cultures. Since the Age of Arcana, it has been home to a distinct political community, largely consisting of nations descended from the Lucine Empire and its neighbors. The broadest definitions of the Bridge of Worlds generally include the whole of this group of nations, while the most specific are limited to just the handful on the Bridge itself.
The nations most generally described as being located fully or partially on the Bridge are Bethe, Elmethid, Daphinia, and Tharon. Lucily and Lialit may be counted when the Lucilian Peninsula is defined as part of the Bridge.

Geography

The Bridge is a land bridge consisting of multiple isthmuses and capes. The Cape of Daphinia is the most prominent of the latter, containing the heartland of its namesake country and jutting out into the Erathspring Sea. To either side of it are the Isthmus of Sarlundy (west) and the Narrow Coast (east).
Major rivers in the Bridge region include (from west to east) the Sardisas in Bethe, the Doluv and Issas in Elmethid, the Sarrisflux in Daphinia, the Allas in Tharon, and the Lega in Lucily. Immediate bodies of water include the Dragonchannel and Sarris Bay to the northwest, the Bay of Tharon to the northeast, and the Bay of Daphinia emptying into the Lucine Gulf to the south. The volcanic island of Maldrath is located off the northwestern coast of the Bridge, separated by the Dragonchannel.
Most of the landscape is filled with rolling hills and vast coastal lowlands, which give way to more mountainous formations on the southern edge of the Bridge. The highest point on the Bridge is Mont Avis in southeastern Daphinia, at 4025 feet.

Ecosystem

Most of the Bridge is covered in temperate forests and grasslands.
