What happens on a turn?
Each week you get one turn. On your turn you:
- Detetmine your current power level.
- Roll your power for the week. 2d6
- Add any saved power to your roll.
- Add your cumulative +1 bonus for saving 5 or less points. (An additional one is added for each consecutive week 5 or less points are saved to a maximum of +3.)
- Spend your power.
- Shape or Name Land for 3 points in the first 10 turns, 5 points in the second 20 turns, and 8 points in the remaining turns.
- Create a Race for 6 points in the first 30 turns and 15 points in the remaining turns.
- Fill out a Species article template.
- Place a pin on the map to show the location of this new race in the world.
- Add the new nation to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out an Organization article temple for the new nation.
- Create a Subrace for 4 points in the first 30 turns and 10 points in the remaining turns.
- Optional: Fill out an Ethnicity article template and/or an Organization article template.
- Place a pin on the map to show the location of this new race in the world.
- Add the new nation to the timeline.
- Command Race or City for 4 points in the first 30 turns and 3 points in the remaining turns.**
- Add the command to the timeline.
- Add a pin to the map if applicable. (For example if creating a settlement.)
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Advance Civilization for 5 points in the first 30 turns and 7 points in the remaining turns. (See How do advancements affect my civilization? for further details.)
- Add the advance to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Advance City for 4 points in the first 30 turns and 5 points in the remaining turns.
- Add the advance to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Cause a random Event for 5 points or 3 for a truly random event.
- Follow the directions on the Event page.
- Add the event to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Cause a targeted Event for 7 points.
- Follow the directions on the Event page.
- Add the event to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Create an Order for 6 points in the first 30 turns and 4 points in the remaining turns.
- Add the order to the timeline.
- Place a pin on the map for the Order or if it is located in a city mention the city name in the timeline entry.
- Optional: Fill out an Organization article template and/or edit the Settlement article temple to include the Order.
- Command Order for 3 points in the first 30 turns and 2 points in the remaining turns.
- Add the command to the timeline.
- Optional: Edit the Organization article template.
- Create a random Catastrophe for 7 points.
- Follow the directions on the Catastrophe page.
- Add the catastrophe to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Create a targeted Catastrophe for 10 points.
- Follow the directions on the Catastrophe page.
- Add the catastrophe to the timeline.
- Optional: Fill out a template if applicable.
- Save your remaining power. Remember saving 5 or less will give you a bonus next turn.
