Cassie Shepherd

Cascade 'Cassie' Shepherd, is the sister of Amanda, and youngest child of James and Catherine. She is also the Granddaughter of 'Father' and great granddaughter of Dawn Shepard on her fathers side.
She is most commonly known and refereed to as 'The Lone Wanderer' even though she rarely travels alone, always with her dog, sister Amanda, and ghoul boyfriend Charon.

In 2288, after Elder Maxson took his team north to the Commonwealth, she staged a coup d'etat against the Brotherhood with her closest allies in order to take it back and reform the Brotherhood.

For most of her life in the vault, she and her friend, Amata were relentlessly bullied by Butch and his tunnel snake gang.

• Ages 11-19

Before this age, it was simple curiousidy about the outside world turned into a deep fascination which her father desperately tried to keep to herself to prevent the overseer from finding out.

• ages 19-20

When she and her sister left the vault, they were ambushed by slavers. She spent weeks trying to track her down and save her from them.

• ages 27-32

After Elder Maxson took over the brotherhood, killed Star Cross, and exiled Cassie from the brotherhood under threat of killing her love, Charon, should either of them ever return to the citadel, she wanted to overthrow him and restore the brotherhood to what it was under Elder Lyons.
Ages 32- As of this age, she overthrew the much weakened brotherhood after it's destruction from the Commonwealth, and became elder herself in the captical wasteland, and instituted the rule where both synths and ghouls are protected, and are allowed to serve in the brotherhood. Charon became Sentinel, as well as her successor to Elder should she perish.
