For the Blood family, it seems that insanity runs in the bloodline. However, Zeta wasn't always the dangerously unhinged Rogue Alpha. When he was younger, Zeta was kind and caring. He looked after his people, trying assure them that everything was okay, even with rogues banging on their front door. Due to his parents' strict rules, Zeta did his best to keep others happy.
Over time, Zeta became twisted and corrupt, seeing everyone as a potential enemy. Being banished from his home pack by his murderous brother left a sour taste in his mouth. So, Zeta adopted his father's tactics and pushed those who joined him into submission. His bitter, angry attitude has earned him a reputation.
He loves torturing people and leaving them as broken messes on the floors of his dungeons located through the lower portion of California. However, when someone attempts escape or even break into his dungeons, Zeta mocks them, and attempts to defame them. When it doesn't work, he goes into a rage, where he violently attacks the intruder/escapee.
Trauma
Zeta experienced a few tragic events in his life that left him permanently scarred and full of hate. The first event was when he was 16-years-old and his older brother, Roden, decided to take the Alpha seat for himself. That level of greed caused Roden, Zeta, and their other siblings to become orphans over night. Zeta caught Roden in the act of slaughtering their parents in their sleep. Roden openly confessed to Zeta about why he did, stating that he wanted to make a point their family was involved with illegal gambling and rogue trade groups. Zeta attacked Roden in a blind fury, yet in a twist of events, Roden shoved the dagger used to kill their parents into Zeta's hands and called out for the guards, accusing Zeta of the murder.
Zeta fled the scene of the crime, afraid of be captured. He ran to his mate at the time, Cybil. When Zeta reached her home, she was quick to reject him as Roden had
mind linked Cybil about Zeta's "crimes" and this forced Zeta to further into the middle of the night. The rejection of his mate drove him insane and kidnapped a
human woman who looked like her.
Asher Blood: "Ollie, in the beginning, my father was a kind wolf. He loved his people and did his best keep others happy. Then, a freak accident happened and his family was slaughtered by his brother, Roden, who wanted to make a point that their family was involved with illegal gambling and rogue trade groups. By taking them out of the picture, Roden vowed to keep all rogues out of the territory and to make sure his brother was compliant with everything that was happening. My father revolted and was quickly banished, leading him to make a pack down in the fourth quadrant of the states. This resulted in him losing his first mate because she rejected him for becoming a rogue. I guess you could say it drove him into capturing a woman who looked like her and forcing her to be his mate. Hence, my birth along with my four other siblings."
History
Zeta was born on November 23rd, 1972
AD to very strict parents who forced their children to be perfect. It certainly didn't help that their father was the Alpha. Due to the strict nature of his parents, Zeta and his siblings were forced into harsh training that blinded one and crippled another. Only Roden and Zeta were the ones to pass their training.
While Roden knew that his path was to become an Alpha, Zeta was trapped with becoming a Warrior on his 16th birthday. That very same day, Zeta found his mate, Cybil. The two were excited on being together and made vows to one another. Later that night, Zeta heard noises coming from down the hallway to their parents' room. He followed his heart and stole a peak inside, hoping to be scarred by the fact he caught his parents fooling around. Instead, Zeta saw a nightmare as Roden slight his parents throats and cut out their father's heart as he began to eat it for "strength," as per the strange custom of their pack.
Roden Blood: "Our parents weren't the innocent people they lead us to believe, brother. Yet, you were ready to defend them. You saw the good in their hearts when they were working with rogues. I had to do this. I have to protect our pack!"
Zeta, in a blind fury at seeing his brother do this, attacked Roden and tried to grapple him. Roden proved himself to a worthy adversary and overthrew his brother and calling for help as he shoved the half-eaten heart into one of Zeta's hands and the dagger used to kill their parents into the other. Before help arrived, Roden said one thing that chilled Zeta to the core.
Three Warrior guards rushed to the room and saw the scene. Roden exclaimed that Zeta wanted power for himself and killed their parents. The guards placed Roden in handcuffs and started to drag him away. Roden then banished his brother from the pack and stripped him of his Warrior title. With one last ounce of strength, Zeta broke free and made a run toward his mate's home, hoping she would take him in and protect him. As he reached Cybil's house, she became frightened of him and rejected him on the spot, since rogues were said to be "dangerous, heartless" creatures.
Zeta escaped his home pack and continued southwest, toward California to avoid being killed. Along the way, he picked up followers who believed his tale. They started calling him their Messiah, their Alpha. Zeta enjoyed the fame he was getting and accepted what they told him. This was how he formed the Frenzy Pack. During their travels, they came across a woman who resembled Cybil in all ways but her orange hair. Zeta had her captured and brought to him as his mate and their newly formed pack's Luna. Her name was Grace Summer. Within a week, Zeta had mated with her, Marked her, and pupped her. Three months later, a litter of five pups were born.
Asher Blood: "Once I was born, my father went about building himself a pack, one that would help him enact revenge on my uncle."
As he raised his children, Zeta showed signs of his insanity worsening. His temper became shorter and he began raping his "mate" while physically beating his "weak" children, including Asher. Although, he dotted on Jatix, who Zeta believed to be the best child of his.
Around 2013
AD, a secret organization reached out to Zeta with a proposal. He could join another Rogue Alpha named
Ignatius Williams with the promise to destroy the Horn Pack, or more importantly, Roden Blood. With Igantius' talents, Zeta immediately learned of the
warsworn and became enthralled with their power. The thirst of this power overtook the Rogue Alpha and he sold Asher to Ignatius as
Mavon's
mate.
