Day of Warriors

The Day of Warriors is held once a moon for Warriors-In-Training, or WIT, who are ready to transition into their full title of Warrior. This tradition is specifically set for werewolves within packs and is usually held on the last day of each month with the WIT dressing in tribal attire and wearing facepaint with the colors of the pack's flag.

Ceremony

The day starts out like any other. Wake up, eat breakfast, etc. Yet, the energy around the pack is filled with quiet excitement and each of the WIT are taken out for one last training exercise with their mentors before being brought to the center of the pack and decked out in their tribal attire and facepaint.
The Alpha will head to the center of the stage while the WIT are getting prepped and begin discussing the highlights of each of the WIT have made over the last three years. Some WIT are more exceptional than others given their natural breeding selections due to their parents.
When the WIT are ready, they are brought on stage to stand beside their mentors and each one is called up by their name in alphabetical order. As their name is called, they go up to the Alpha and kneel before him, reciting a Warrior's Oath that they had been practicing for the last month.
After speech, the WIT is asked to stand and the Alpha makes an incision in his hand and in the WIT's hand. They clasp their hands together and the WIT can feel the mind link form with the pack. The WIT is officially a Warrior among their packmates. The pack chants to the new Warrior through the mental link, congratulating them. They are then told to wait by their former mentor.
Once the ceremony is complete, everyone gathers for a big party to celebrate the new Warriors. Most of the time, there are plenty of strength challenges and races that go on. And on rare occassions, newly made Warriors may meet their mates for the first time at these parties.
